Changing the Scene Through Cinema
A partnership between 1878, LLC, non-profit school CFEG (The Center for Educational Growth, Inc.), and production company BTP (Blue Tarp Productions, LLC) to combat gun homicide rates through the power of film.
Beginning with the U.S. Virgin Islands—which has a per capita homicide rate higher than the national U.S., and globally is amongst the most homicide-plagued places—the FOGV program focuses on curating films in high violence plagued areas to redirect youth and communities away from the guns to the art of filmmaking.
1878, LLC focuses on the collection and distribution of these films to promote the FOGV program and filmmakers who are seeking a place to gain revenue for their work and submission of Virgin Islands and Caribbean-based content and stories in entertainment.
Share your Virgin Islands or Caribbean-based stories and content for theatrical release, VOD streaming, and film festival promotion while generating revenue for your work.
